Das Quartett um den wiener Bassgitarristen Marc Mezgolits 
beschäftigt sich vor Allem mit musikalischen Kontrasten: freie kollektive Improvisation und strikte Formen sind kein Widerspruch, die Absenz eines Schlagzeugs lässt die Musik flächiger, aber nicht weniger rhythmisch erscheinen.
Im Repertoire finden sich ausschliesslich Eigenkompositionen, welche oft in voller Besetzung, manchmal auch im Duo oder Trio gespielt werden. Das Quartett hat am 25.01.2019 ihr Debut-Album "Mostly Love Songs" auf QFTF veröffentlicht.

The quartet lead by viennese bass guitar player Marc Mezgolits experiments first and foremost with contrasts: free collective improvisation and strict forms are no contradiction; the absence of a drummer leaves the music with more space, yet there is still a lot of rhythm. The repertoire consists solely of originals which are mostly played by all band members, but sometimes only in duo or trio. The quartet released their debut record "Mostly Love Songs" on the 25th of January 2019 on "QFTF Records"
